The Story of iZoar
Once upon a time in a faraway land, the Village of iZoar waited. It was waiting for the right person to come along who would bring it to life in just the right way and at the precise right time. The Village of iZoar waited to be birthed for more than 40 years.
During that time, a wondrous girl child was born. She loved almost everything. She was also very curious and quite inquisitive. She especially wanted to know why she and other folks were on the planet. She searched in many directions to find answers. She traveled to many lands. She had many experiences. Once, she jumped out of an airplane. She rode a camel in the desert, hiked Norway’s highest mountain, went inside the Great Pyramid, rode in a hot air balloon, and walked beside penguins. She enjoyed her life to the fullest. Sometimes, she danced all night. She always, always loved deeply, played often, and laughed with great regularity.
One night, as the grown girl sat in her living room, something incredible happened. By this time in her life, she had connected with her ability to draw and create. She had discovered that she was truly an artist. In the midst of some happy and fun doodling, a character appeared. The colorful character made the grown girl laugh. She laughed and laughed and was filled with joy. The grown girl had always wanted to create a character that would speak for her as she shared her messages of love and insights in the world. The grown girl thought this character was the one. But, instead of just one character, a party began to appear—a wonderful group of friends. And that group of friends grew into a community, and ultimately a village. And that village was named the Village of iZoar.
Today, there are over 200 villagers who have come to exist in the Village of iZoar. The primary philosophy of the Village is for each individual to seek their highest knowing. Each villager understands that life is in constant motion. A path does not have a beginning or an end, but rather it remains a lifelong journey for each person. We practice trusting without proof, for we know the road will keep appearing in front of us. For every milestone we cross, for each mountain that appears just for us, another awaits in the distance, smiling and beckoning us to move towards it. We embrace our journey with delight, knowing the Universe will provide all that we need along the path.
The road is where we practice patience and live proactively at the same time. It is a place of liquid delight and belly laughter. We understand that the path is ours alone. We can choose to enhance our journey by those we walk with. Utmost in the villagers’ minds are that our lives are our own and we are responsible for them—for how we live and for what we manifest.
The villagers of iZoar bring messages of support, inspiration, and laughter. They remind us to be all we can be in this lifetime; to go beyond what we think is possible. With their whimsy, big shoes, wild clothes, and crazy hair, they reconnect us with the place of joy that is within us all. They each have a message to share—an authentic truth that speaks about our human experiences. They express all the ups, downs, ins, outs, overs, unders, and arounds—the bumps, bruises, and giggles of life. They remind us that above all else, “It’s your life—you get to choose.”
